The District Manager is responsible for the superior management and operational integrity of assigned multiple stores. The DM is the established leader for recruitment, development, and training of store management and staff dedicated to brand building and sales generation. The District Manager is also responsible for stores’ presentation, inventory management, and effective communication to the central Buying-Planning organization to protect appropriate replenishment, weeks of supply, and margin contribution to profitability.

Responsibilities
- Track sales and key performance indicators to communicate business results and identify business opportunities
- Manage controllable expenses and adjust to the shifts in business (example payroll)
- Utilize sales and best-selling reports to determine needs of the business and partner with Home Office in product strategies
- Ensure the store employees are committed to the SPORT service program, engaging and interacting with customers to build sales and customer loyalty
- Recruit, train, and develop store staff in all position with qualified talent that can grow into future management needs – provide continued feedback for recognition and coaching
- Establish rigorous operational execution of company policies and procedures
- Implement and maintain all visual merchandising and marketing directives for consistent store execution
- Responsible for all aspects in hiring, set up, and opening practices and procedures for new store
Experience
5 years retail experience with at least 3 years in multi-unit management specialty retail or multi group within a department store environmentApply Now
